Comments on NewGames

# 3 Comments. # Hiya Trevor! Although there have been changes in the document version (mostly wording), Glob was originally published in 2010 and then revised in 2013. Could you please change that if possible? Many thanks for your time, as always.

Sorry, to save on admin bandwidth we are now automatically generating these lists based on the Version Date metadata and Glob's most recent version date is recorded in the wiki as 2016 and I don't think we should be deliberately entering the wrong version date metadata in order to manipulate where a game shows up on the NewGames list. Note people who only check the wiki once a year or so may actually want to see which "old" games have been "recently" updated so they know to download the "new" versions of the rules (to keep their piecepack game collections up to date). However, I've written a new intro to the NewGames page to hopefully provide a better interpretation for what the new lists now mean. Also note that the GamesStatistics spreadsheet does have an "Year Originally Published" column (where Glob has a value of 2010) that people can use to sort piecepack games according to their original publishing date.

No problem at all! Goodness, you're giving the wiki quite an overhaul... (which is brilliant, of course).
