# 10 Comments. # Looks like a lot of fun! I especially enjoy the thematic revisionism. A few questions: (1) Can you define "quarter turn"? (2) What relationship do the various levels have? (3) What is the point of the Maze Template diagram? (4) Minor. Some layout problems involving page breaks. For example, the diagram on the first page slides off the bottom.

Also (5), about determining turn order: I understand using A through 4 sticks shows off the expansion in a different way, but wouldn't it be simpler just to arrange the ghost tokens in turn order, especially since some of the sticks might be unobtainable?

Thanks For the feedback: 1- fixed and added diagram 2- gave levels names instead of numbers to encourage free choice. 3- this is for Maze designers who want an easy way to record their creations via Google Docs- added clarifying instructions. 4-fixed (I think) 5- Good idea. I added token order as an option but left illustration and matchsticks option in rules as a potential inspiration for future matchsticks designers.

This sounds great!

I played the game today and a few questions came up: What happens if you can't take you're full move because you're blocked in? Can you eat cubes of other ghosts' colours? Can piecepackman go into the ghosts' house? What happens when piecepackman rolls an objective and there are no more cubes or coins of that colour on the board? During ghost hunger does piecepackman go for the weaker ghosts first or just the closest because they're all vulnerable?

It was fun, but maybe a bit long for what it is (a common problem with boardgame versions of computer games). One thing you could do to make it quicker would be to not change the ghost order every turn.

I still found it exciting at the end even when it was fairly obvious that we would win. I enjoyed the tension of going after piecepackman when he was heading for a coin, should we keep going or run away now so he doesn't catch the powerful ghosts.

Glad you had fun!

To answer your questions:

If you are blocked, you are stuck; you have to backtrack unless you cannot move at all. That's the main reason I introduced the turn order negotiation.

You can't eat cubes of other colors. If you land on another color cube, set your Ghost on top of it.

Piecepackman cannot enter the Ghost House.

If Piecepackman's highest roll is a color that is no longer on the board, he will use that many points to follow the next highest available objective.

During Ghost Hunger, Piecepackman goes straight for the closest non-immune Ghost without regard for its cubes. During Ghost Hunger they are all vulnerable until they get eaten, at which point they return to the Ghost House, lose a turn, and then receive immunity for the rest of Ghost Hunger.

Neither the PDF nor the Google Doc mention any license. How do we know this is licensed under CC BY-SA?

I think it likely Dan Burkey himself initially created the Piecepackman article including license info when submitting the game to the latest piecepack game contest.

And you're right again. :) I should get into the habit of checking the older revisions of the pages. Dan Burkey did indeed add the license himself.
