This two-player pen-and-paper strategy game was invented by Steve Ryan. It originated in a collection of puzzles called "Concentrated Challenges".

Setup

Draw a square board with five large dots on each side. These 20 dots are posts that will be connected by wires (lines drawn by the players).

Play

Decide who will go first. Players take turns drawing lines, representing wires, between unused posts on either adjoining or opposite sides of the board. The only restriction is that no new wire may cross more than one existing wire on the board.

Winning

A player wins when his opponent cannot make a valid move.
