RE: [piecepack] piecepack.org updated

Racepack, my piecepack car racing game has also been updated to version 1.3.
The game rules have not really changed at all but the introduction and some
sections at the end of the rules have been partially re-written to reflect
that the game is more fun with six to eight cars running than with four (as
with most racing games). Previously version 1.2 of the rules presented the
game as a 4-car, 2-4 player game that included variants for more cars and
players and I just wanted to make it more clear that it's a 2-8 player game.

On a separate subject, anyone in the greater SF Bay area who's interested
should consider coming to Gamesday on April 5th (10AM-10PM) at the Los Alto
public Library. There are usually about 50 people there, some for all day,
others for various periods during the day. People play German games, war
games, abstracts, etc., although I should mention that the German-style
games usually comprise 60-70 percent of what's played. Mark Biggar contacted
me earlier today and asked if I wanted to help him demo the piecepack there
with a game of New City, and I told him I thought that was a great idea, so
we both plan to be there. More info on Gameday can be found on a dedicated
yahoogroup called gamesday.
