The Great Dalmuti

A TrickTakingGame, albeit one that uses its own distinct set of cards. Each player has a rank (The Great Dalmuti, the Lesser Dalmuti, assorted Merchants, the Lesser Peon, and the Greater Peon). For the first round this is determined randomly. For each succeeding round, a player's rank depends on how well he or she did on the previous round. The two highest ranks get dibs on some of the cards from the two lowest ranks, but skilled players can overcome this.

Like Wizard, this is a slightly-modified version of a public domain game (Oh_Hell? in the case of Wizard, President in the case of The Great Dalmuti).
