Irreversible Consequences

Not only should your consequence be perceivable, it should be a consequence that matters. By irreversible I don't mean permanent, I just mean that it will take some amount of some resource to undo. There was an article in *Game Design Perspectives* that took Doug Church's tool to this level. You can't have MeaningfulChoices if the consequences don't matter.
