Re: [piecepack] Re: Contest - Rob Le Judge

As I've had people ask, I thought I'd send out a quick update on where the
judging's at:

I've been able to get a few friends over to help play the entries (there
were a total of 5). So far, we've played through 4 of the 5 games and hope
to finish up our intial go at the games this coming Tuesday. Once we get
that done, I'll have some questions for the individual games, and I hope to
get in another round of testing, as I find attitudes change over time.

So far, from the intial impressions, the games have been of varying quality.
Some have better themes than the games play, while others have better games
than the theme pasted on it.

My goal is to find a winner that both plays well and entertains with its
theme. Once the judging finishes, I'll do sometime similar to what Mike
did. Give a general overview the games submitted, with more details on
request after the judging is over. The good news to the lower number of
submissions is that I'll be able to touch on all the games played.

Later!!

Rob.
