Hi, I'm glad you decided to try the game :)

To answer your questions:

1- You can only move orthogonally (I think the rules do state that...)
2- You can move up to the number of spaces equal to your health.
3- The coin is always placed back, number up, in its space (I'll have to
clear that up). Be sure never to reveal its suit to the other players. The
only time a coin is moved is when you find one of your own suit coins, in
which case you take it and place it in front of you.

BTW, I'll say that after playing the game (and its variant for people that
don't have a pentominoes set) I actually like ended up liking the variant
better :D
