Using piecepack to play abstract games (was Re: piecepackplus)

Iain

Yes, Ron has fairly impressive set of games in his kit. I try and do
something similar when we go away; to pack all the smaller games +
some dice/counters into one cardboard box (the mix is a little
different each time, depending on who will be with us). My Cheapass
games are already all in one box.

However, I am trying to get a handle what would be an optimal set of
gaming *pieces* that allow a reasonable number of abstract games to
be played. I will browse further at the world of abstract games site:
http://www.di.fc.ul.pt/~jpn/gv/
for some ideas.
