Hello,

I just received a Piecepack as a gift and I would like some
suggestions on where to start as there are lot of game available
at this time. So here are my three questions.

Welcome to the piecepack community.

1. If you have practical experience with a 10 yo what games
would you suggest that work well with just two players?

Most of my experience with younger gamers has been playing the games
I have designed myself, so if you don't mind my tooting my own horn
here goes:

All the flicking games work well with younger players:
	Soccer
	Ppolf
	Tabletop Bocce
	Tabletop Croquet

Racing game also work well:
	Worm Derby
	Racepack

Other games:
Easy Slider (using the "Slide!" variant)
	Froggy Bottom
	Deduction (if they like Clue)

2. I am very interested in solitaire games does anyone have a list
of all of the solitaire games currently available?

Tula is excellent. Wait until the current contest is done and you'll
have 20+ to choose from.

3. Is there a list sorted by release date?

Not really. If you join the Yahoo group list and read the messages in
chronological order, then you will get a good idea of the order the
games were created in (you probably just need to look at the message
titles, except for the contest games where you need to look at the
end of contest discussion for the games.)

Hopefully I will even be contributing in some way in the near
future as I may be turning my eye towards some fledgling design
attempts.

A good start is to enter a submission in one of our periodic
contests; the next one should be starting up around Feb/Mar with
a submission deadline around June.

Remember that reviews and session reports are also an excellent
contribution. And you might what to also look at and contribute to
the wiki. http://www.ludism.org/ppwiki
