Problem with JCD Piecepack font on Mac OS X 10.9

I just upgraded to a new Mac mini running OS X 10.9, and want to install the JCD Piecepack font. Unfortunately, Apple's Font Book reports a couple of minor problems with that font: 'name' table structure, and 'kern' table structure and contents. Can I safely install the JCD Piecepack font on my computer?
